What Is IntraNase®?

IntraNase is a unique, patented, nasal applicator used to administer a solution into the nasal cavities. Unlike nasal sprays, drops and powders, which typically only allow the solution to reach areas of the nasal cavities that have low absorption abilities, IntraNase administers the solution to areas of the mucous membranes that have higher absorption abilities for a more effective treatment. Additionally, some alternative delivery methods may increase the risks that the solution is inhaled into the lungs or swallowed - which may result in side effects that are not desirable.

What Makes IntraNase® Unique?

IntraNase consists of two parts - Nasaline's patented irrigation tip and a syringe. The syringe is available in two sizes: 35cc and 60cc. The Nasaline tip is designed to fit most noses in such a way as to completely seal the nostril opening. The channel inside the tip is formed in the shape of an hourglass, producing a gentle stream when the medication/solution is administered into the nasal cavities. The entire IntraNase unit is latex-free. The syringe feature allows the user to control the flow for optimum comfort and effectiveness.
